Bestfriend Jealousy: PLEASE HELP!?

i don't know why but i am jealous of my best friend. I am pretty good looking myself and i always get complimented (not trying to be snobbish) but whenever she gets complimented or something i feel bad and feel like "ughhh don't want her to get complimented". I know this isn't right but i just can't help this feeling. I don't want to be such a *****! i want to be happy and fulfilled. Please help me and don't give rude comments because i know how bad this is myself and that's why i want to get rid of it! it makes me feel so unhappy :( because it's not like people don't call me pretty, it's just when she is complimented. :/
