How do i use the TPS (telephone preference service). I'm fed up with telesales etc?

if the company is uk based, doesnt matter where the call centre is, once registered with tps it is illegal for them to call you unless you have told them they can call you. if they keep calling get the company name and report them to the tps, alternately tell them you are registered and they are breaking the law, they soon hang up.
