I am a Canadian who wants to move to Grand Forks, ND. How do I do that and where do I start??

I am a 34 year old mother of 2 (5 yrs and 13yrs) and my common law spouse and my mother (who is a British citizen and has permanent residency in Canada) would like to move to Grand Forks or Fargo, ND. My spouse and I would both work full time and we each have 8 years experience of dispatch/planning/customer service experience in the trucking industry and I also have banking call centre expericence as well. My mom would be a homemaker not working at this time. I was wanting to know where do we start? What is the best way to move and roughly what the costs are? We would be looking to purchase a house there as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)
