Cerwin vega?

okay, i bought a Cerwin Vega Stroker 124, it is not a Stroker Pro... the Stroker is rated at 2000w RMS and 4000w max peek... i bought a 4200w Legacy amp cause i knew that Legacy would not blow it even at double the RMS... well that amp sucked.... BAD my 800w kicker powers the sub WAY better...but i guess you get what you pay for.... well ne ways... what amp will power this sub at 2000w good and make it beat the doors off my truck like it should be dowing at a decent price.... dont want to spend more than a couple hundered... i know not to go light on amps anymore.... what is a good amp... cant find a cerwin vega amp more than 600 watts... which is strange cause they make the strokers and stroker pros... but what ever.... i dont want a crap amp. i want a good or atleast decent amp for a good price... name some brands and models... please and thanks...!
