Why do I love women's clothing?

I'm a guy, but for some reason, I love women's fashion much more than boring, drab guy stuff. I am a straight male, with a girlfriend. She's not really stylish, and has somewhat shunned my attempts to apply my interests in fashion on her (which is fair). I want/need an outlet for this interest. Why do I have it, and what should I do about it?
