I'm now in my second week of trying to eat healthy, I eat aobut 6 small meals per day so that I don't ever feel really hungry. My food intake consists of oatmeal with blueberries and blackberries, strawberries, a yogurt, apple, walnut salad with some tuna, my main meal is usually chicken or salmon with kidney beans, chickpeas and lentils and then ill maybe just have 1 little cookie from time to time if i get hungry late at night. During the day i'll eat carrots, cubers and peppers (to snack on). I haven't noticed any weight change and infact my stomach looks bigger rather than smaller is this normal that i feel fatter now than before?????? PLEASE do not post diet pills or stuff like that ..i want to build a healthier lifestyle is all and loose a few pounds. Well, I got my hair cut about two weeks ago and it used to reach to the middle of my back but now its only a little longer than my shoulders. I cooked for my boyfriend's mom at her house (because I live 30 minutes away) and then was washing the dishes to clean up. I wash the dishes by putting soap on the rag and wiping them down and running them under water. She said something like "you're going to do it THAT way?" and I said yeah this is the way I do it. Then I found out that she was talking to her daughter about how I should have put them in a sink full of soapy water. THE KIDS, THE KIDS, get them out first…” Jag woke covered with sweat. “Man, I have to stop that” he said, in a worried voice after waking up from another nightmare of when he lost his family in a fire started by a lighting strike in the little cabin they owed deep in the woods of Clearbrooke Minnesota. “I have to get something today, I haven’t eaten since last week” he said as he gathered his bow and arrows he had made from some driftwood and a pine tree he cut down. He did have a 20 gauge shotgun but no ammo and it was the only thing he had recovered from the fire, (besides some clothes and a blanket) that took his parents, his sister, and his uncle who was living with him 5 years ago. He had not found any shells so the gun proved worthless. He set out to his makeshift tree stand he built out of the wood from the pine he cut down with an axe that was in the shed next to the house that wasn’t burned by the fire. When he got his sweatshirt and coat on he left to go out to the stand. It was still very dark out, no later than 4 in the morning, so navigating his way to the stand was difficult, and when he got there the sun was already completely up. When he got up the tree he started calling for deer with a grunt that he mastered over the last 5 years of hunting since the fire. 4 hours later he had seen nothing and with his stomach roaring with hunger he got up to see if he could chase a rabbit out. He got down from his stand and made his way into a thick brush pile where two rabbits darted out straight ahead of him. It freighting him so much that he fell down but years of hunting told him never to take his eye of the game, and he watched them both stop side by side about 15 yards from his current position. He slowly got to his knees and got out an arrow and just then both rabbits took off like lighting for no apparent reason, know it wasn’t him Jag looked around to see what scared them. He looked to his left and about 10 yards about was a little fawn eating the clover that was growing there. He drew back his arrow took the shot and missed about a foot above it. The deer took off into some brush but Jag wasn’t about to give up yet. He slowly walked around the brush that the deer went into and climbed a tree that he thought would over look the whole brush. When he got to the top he could see the fawn munching on the same patch of clover that Jag took the last shot. It was about a 45 yard shot from there. Jag had never hit anything from more that 30 with his bow and never attempted anything from more than 40, so this was a very difficult shot for him. But his hunger drove him to take a it. He used his best arrow that he had and drew it back lrt it go and watched the arrow go straight into the lung area of the fawn. The deer ran about 5 yards and dropped dead. Jag was so excited he failed to remember he was in a tree and almost fell out and experienced about 50 ft drop. He dropped his bow witch made a loud snap when it hit the ground. Jag climbed down to see his bow completely snapped in 4 different places. He took the string and left the rest to lay knowing he couldn’t fix it. He went to retrieve his game. By the time he got home, changed, and had the deer cleaned and put in the fridge he had in the shed, it was past midnight, so he was eager to get to sleep knowing he had a long day tomorrow making a new bow. He slept ‘till about 8 the next day and got rite to work cutting down a small pine he had rite by the cabin to use for the bow, and maybe some new arrows. He took off all the needles and cut the real small twigs off, and started taking off the bigger branches to make into arrows and then take the main beam of the tree and make that into the bow. Once he got all the branches off he took them and put them into the shed so he could work on the arrows tonight because they were smaller and fit into the shed witch was only about an 8x10 little room that had a little heater and a small fridge/freezer along with the pile of leaves with a couple blankets he found in his room after the fire Jag used as his bed. Then he took the main part of the tree and started taking off the bark to get the woody part of the tree. Once he got all the bark off, he took his pocket knife he got from his grandpa when he was 5 years old and always kept in his sweatshirt pocket, and started shaving down the tree to about a 3” diameter stick that was about 4’ long and then he took the axe and chopped off the ends to make it about 3 ft long and stated to make it into the bow. He made it so in the middle it was the same 3” diameter circle for a grip and then the top and bottom were made into about 2” wide ½ inch thick board type piece so it was flexible, than he made notches on both sides of the top and bottom to wrap the string around (witch was some thick 30lbs fishing line he found in the shed) and tied a triple knot around it and then he was done. He went back inside to work on the arrows. He only used the branches that seemed not to be dead or rotted so that eliminated almost half of the branches he had. So he took the remaining 5 branches or so and began to shave off the bark and then make about a 2 ½ ft long arrow with a pointed front and end with leaves for stability.

Virgin Media "V Box" Help me - somebody - PLEEASE!!!?

I just got a "Virgin V" box (Samsung SMT-2110C) and it has been fully connected to the: tv, vcr, and all the arials. (Not by the company henchmen) when I switch on the av center the box turns on and a message is displayed on the TV screen (it says "your digital service will start shortly") but then the box goes into standby, when I go through the AV channels nothing is displayed (apart from on AV1 which is the channel which the message was displayed on, where there is a black background and dim coliours flash), I've tried every on on the remote, and have looked through the "manual" and nothing is said about this. What do I do??? (also when the box turns on, the leds on the box say "LD30" then "LD40".

You could bake them in a 2" deep gl pan and cover the chops with a blend of honey, spicy brown mustard, a few splashes of worchestershire and salt and pepper to taste... OR you could make a 50/50 blend of chicken stock and your favorite BBQ sauce, plus a little liquid smoke, worchestershire and cajun seasoning (Tony Cachere's is good) make enough til fill the pan about 1/3 high, cover with foil (Either recipe) and cook at 170 degrees until internal temp at the thickest part of the meat reaches 170. The best way to keep meat tender and moist is to cook it at it's ideal temperature until it reaches said temperature. It takes longer, but the results are amazing!

Why don't you ask the career or guidance counselor at your school? It's their job to know about those things. Once you get in and decide on your major, then your academic program will be set out for you and you'll be able to make up anything you've missed.

Most dreams do mean something actually, however as for the first one I'm not sure. The second though clearly means that there is something personal that you're having trouble with. The fact that you were afraid in your own home means that there is something going on perhaps with your family or your own mind that is really bothering you. Feeling unsafe in your home definitely means something, and it's up to you to figure out what it is that's bothering you. It's usually just something that's been growing in the back of your mind that's making you uneasy.

I totally agree that Edward looked way better in Twilight. I love Edward and I hate that they put all that makeup on his face. Also it seems like they made his hair darker and shorter. He didn't have that dreamy James Dean vibe this time around. Also the stylists were horrible. 90% of the time he was wearing ugly tweed suits. There was so hot grey jacket and Ray Ban's like in the first one. It seems like they took away his edgy rock and roll style and replaced it with second hand store dark colored suits. He is definately a rat terrior. They are similar breeds so it is normal for you to think that it is something else. Beside, if you recieved the papers then they do DNA tests and everything so it isnt a jack russel. Some just have floppier ears than others.

My 2001 Dodge Ram 5.9 V8 still misfires but not enough to trigger the sensor for the Check Engine Light?

Slip disc surgery went awesome and I am better than ever thank you Jesus!?

I had a herniated disc and had surgery today 7/25/2010 at 7:15am I am sitting here right now so happy that I don't have pain in my left leg and ock the Relief is wonderful I had to have basically emergency surgery because I was at the point that I could not walk it was a disaster I felt as if I wanted to die it just hurt so bad I went to a chiropractor days prior and he said that he dealt with people that disc bulge in mm and my bulge is in cm but also had a fracture I guess a piece was broken off and every doctor has said I need this surgery I came here to the er 7/22/2010 because the meds were not helping with the pain I didn't want a narcotic but ended getting hydrocodone-apap 5-325 went home with meds and had made an appointment friday but yesterday7/24/2010 I woke and I could not walk at all I was in so much pain I could not even go potty so my boyfriend took me to the er again (Texas Health presbyterian hospital in Dallas Tx) and they admitted me in I had taken a Mri 7/22/2010 last time I was here so they knew what was up I was told that they were going to do the surgery and the cool thing was that the doctor that did my surgery is actually the doctor I made the appointment with (Dr charles Banta II ) he came in on his day off 7/24/2010 and sat and we had discussed what my options were and I was able to ask him many questions I never met him before and he really made me feel comfortable and was able to answer my questions it was great so they prepared me for the surgery for in the morning I was in so much pain last night it was crazy I wish my boyfriend didn't have to see me like that the nurses were great and did the best they could to help with the pain thank gosh I got to have an iv that I got to press a on after every 7 minutes for the pain med it is called Dalita ( HYDOmorphone HCI) when I went down to get the surgery I was able to talk to the doctor he was great and I asked to please will you un pinch my nerve down my left leg he said yes he would and I asked how he would do the surgery and he said he is going to take that piece out etc... I was very scared but the surgery went well when I woke up the doc asked how my leg felt it took me a minute to comprehend but I answered and said there is no pain but I did have pain in my back where they did the surgery and they fixed that to it was great all the staff and the doctors here at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital they are awesome and for the first time in my life having surgery experience and feel very comfortable here I am very thankful Jesus really loves me I can now have my life back thank you all for helping me and most thank you Yahoo for having Yahoo answer if anyone has any questions Please e-mail me at guppygurl80@ yahoo.com THANK YOU ALL!

I am a 26 year old female that has been dealing with acne since I was 12. I am currently using the Obagi Nu Derm program, while I find my skin feels nice and looks healthy, I still deal with spots and enlarged pores. I have used this ingredient before, and in my eyes they controlled to a certain level, and with both still got pimples. House training a puppy?

we have a puppy (chiuhauah mix) or however u spell it. and we have tried everything from crate training (doing it exactly how it says to do it on respected pet websites) rubbin his nose in piss as soon as he does it and whippin him and tellin him he's bad and puttin him outside. and he cant seem to get it through his head. He does the total opposite of what he's supposed 2 do...instead of holdin his pee while he's inside and waitin for us to put him out to pee, he will hold his pee while he's OUTside and wait till we let him in and as soon as he comes in he pisses in the floor, its like he's ******* with us... he knows he's doin wrong by pissin in the floor because i will notice he will go hide from us (even before we even known he's pissed sumwhere) and next thing i know sure enough i find the piss....is there anything i can do? please help, we love the poor dog so much but we cant have the piss thing goin on, the puppys name is peanut but i call him my shuggy man

I just found out that my boyfriend gets cold sores and I'm scared because I have autoimmune problems.?

I have been having panic attacks after finding out that my boyfriend of 6-months has a lifelong history of cold sores. He has never had one while we've been together and says he gets one a year. I have never had one, never saw them growing up other than in health cl (seriously, and I'm 30) and am scared to death because I have a long history of autoimmune problems including past hospitalizations. Everything I read scares me as it always refers to the health of your immune system when describing how bad it could be. I feel like if I got it I would have terrible outbreaks. I am a very self-conscious and emotional person as well and feel the stress of it would be emotionally damaging. I care about my boyfriend and was beginning to feel like he was "the one," but feel like our trust is broken, especially because he knows my medical history and how concerned I am about my health and never told me about it. I have been very careful my whole life, waited a long time to have , had only one ual partner before him and always asked the STD questions. I'm seeing a doctor next week and will get tests for HSV-1 but I don't know if I test negative if it hasn't shown up yet or if I test positive if its because I was exposed years ago. We've had little (now I'm wondering if this is why) but I know it can be spread that way as well. I'm just scared. I feel like I'm going to lose this relationship and/or develop a terrible health condition I will have to deal with forever. :(

Why can't whale blubber be used for fuel?

It was used as lamp oil throughout history, it has a huge biom and with proper processing should work great as a bio-diesel fuel. Since we're running out of crude and the prices are subject to the whims and appetites of people that hate us anyway why not just begin hunting whales again? Probably enough whales left out there for a few years and people that drive diesels (like my Humvee) need an inexpensive fuel source.

Stepper motor drive I/O port and serial com port?

Can anyone tell me why a stepper motor drive would have both an I/O port and a serial com port? I am supposed to get a stepper motor working for a school project and I have absolutely no electrical engineering knowledge. We have a Danaher 70360 stepping drive that is supposed to hook up to a DAQ box that is supposed to hook up to a PC card that is supposed to interface with LAB VIEW and do something. The Danaher manual umes the people reading it know what they are doing. So my question is what do the serial and I/O ports do? Are they supposed to do the same thing so that I use one or the other, or are they both supposed to be used?

Sucks :/ perms jump up your hair according to how tight the curls are. You want to get the loosest possible curls so it's only wavy but it's still a perm. Ask the stylist for the largest rollers they have to make your hair wavy. That way, it looks more natural than weird tight curls. Actually, if you can watch any episodes of Jimmy Fallon's talk show from last week, he was perming a man's hair every night. You should watch, it's funny but it will give you an idea of a perm on a guy.

Pet rat advice and info?

Hey guys, just a quicky really. Finally after years and years of wanting a rat i have just purchased two 2month old male dumbos with my girlfriend. Its obviously our first time and abit new to the whole thing and just wondering if fellow rat owners could share some advice with us. One thing that is really bugging us is the smell from the cage as they seem to be pooing everywhere in there. Within an hour of the cage being cleaned out we are finding at least 30 poos in there and it absolutely stinks, they are also doing it all over the house when let out too. We have noticed some improvement tside the cage but it varies from day to day if any. Tried two sorts of litter including carefresh (Kept original light cellulose based cat/rodent litter in littertray) and also brought some cage fresh granules for the bottom of the cage but still doesnt seem to make any difference. We are currently trying to litter train and have also been putting the poos in the litter tray but still no joy whatsoever. Are they any products/litter/bedding that will help and also any supplements or food that help too?? We have heard that having the guys doctored may stop them weeing and pooing everywhere...is there any truth in this??? They have been awesome so far and already are learning to spin, be called by name and do various other tricks so we know they are far from not being able to learn. What techniques to cleaning and how you lay everything down can you give us. And finally a little worried about bruno the bigger of the two, he is sneezing and making noises every now and then and we also found him sprawled outside his his bed almost lifeless. Should we be worried?? Any help would be cool and much appreciated. Also could you give any links to sites that might help? Many thanks :-)

I use Bambino Mio, they are easy to use and one of the cheapest out there, the only thing i have found is that they are not absorbent enough for night time, I use tots bots at night for the absorbency, but i would not want to use these during the day as they are very bulky, i also use bum genius, these are great but quite expensive, very easy to use again definitely better than bambino mio but when you take into consideration the cost approx �15 per nappy and you will prob need 15 nappies, it makes you think again............that's why i use a selection, tots bots for night, bambino mio for everyday, bum genius when i really need it easy.

Fight Drive is the drive Police Service Dogs are in when they find a suspect hiding in a dark basement and move in for the bite. Fight drive is the will to engage in physical combat and the courage and confidence to believe you'll win if you fight hard enough. Well bred Pitbulls have TONS of fight drive, I'd rather trust a 40 pound game bred pitbull with my life than a 100 pound American Showline GSD simply because I know which one will be there when I need it, without a doubt. Pitbulls would make great PSDs but that won't happen anytime soon because everybody believes what they see on TV...And as far as the argument about well bred pitbulls not being naturally aggressive towards humans...I agree as I've seen that first hand but, with good training I believe they could be trained to do man work with no problems. Notice I said good training, not backyard I think I'm tough with my pitbull mutt guard dog training. (I felt I needed to say that before the Pitbull lovers attacked me!). Why is my (97) galant stalling?

When I come to stop light my car tends to drop Idle and stall, this is after its warmed up. I had it plugged in and it reads a Idle System Malfunction code, so i replaced the throttle body, TPS, and AIC sensor. I also replaced the battery, plugs and wires, and valve cover gasket set. I cannot figure this out so i bought a new ECU but before i go abouts all that work, Just wondering if their is any other little things it might me?

After realizing that my dad is diagnosed with colon cancer for 3rd stage and lung cancer, that the colon cancer cells has dissipated to, I have been an emotional wreck. Despite that my dad is already in the recovering process of the cancer and applying chemotherapy, I could not overcome my emotions and fear, the fear that my family is drifting away from me, the fear that my dad will abandon the world someday, the fear that i am losing MYSELF. I could not open up my heart to my friends nor anyone. I act trivial toward them as if i am perfectly fine. But deep down in my heart, i feel agony, impotence, inferiority, and depressed. Both my parents have traveled to another country in order to heal my dad's cancer. When i talk to my friends, I do not have that mood anymore. At school, i no longer worry about grades, instead all i do is daydream and ponder when i will be able to visit my father once again. Many people have tried broadening my secluded narrow mind, yet it never seems to work. Moreover, i have been hurt by my parents many times due to their verbal abuse. My dad's scorn of my stupidity and my mom's scold for being too genuine and necessity to toughen up. My mother's goal for me to be what she wants me to be. THis is what confuses me. On one hand, i abhor my parents for making me feel inferior. On the other hand, if i can not abhor them due to the fact that they are my family and the definition of family is unconditional love. Thus, it is often foilsome for me to express my thoughts to them, i do not want them to be in agony, especially when my mother is always worrying of taking care of the family and my father's health. If i tell them the truth, i feel that i would only hurt them even more. I really have a conflict with expressing my grief and anger to friends and family. From having difficulty of expressing my wrath to my parents to my agony of family love to not knowing what to do for my life, i feel like a little girl in a lost forest, where i no longer can see my future, I only see a foreshadow of a gloomy, lonely maze of my path.

I saw a human like figure when my eyes were closed?

The other night I shut the light out to go to sleep on the coach, and I was facing towards the cushions, and it seems my mind was concentration on something unusual, and I briefly saw a shadow of a person or something that looked like one. could be the problems they have been having with Internet lines being cut in that part of the world! I know it is messing up the info transfer in Middle East, but maybe they are re routing some of the e-mail through the African area. Or it could be because of the unrest in that part of the world. I know this sounds petty but, it's just the tip of the ice berg. When I got pregnant with my son, my MIL's first Grandson, I gained a good deal of weight. I lost most of it but am still a little chubbier than I was before I got preggo. My son is now 2. She is always saying rude comments to me about it. Well, today, she called to ask what size ring I wear. I explained to her that I wear a 7 on my left hand ring finger but that my right hand is just a wee bit bigger so probably a 71/2 or 8. She exclaimed "Nikki (her youngest, very thin daughter) wears an 8, I think I'll get you a 9." I seriously got sad over it. I know I should be grateful for whatever gift she's getting me and try not to be caddy, but would you be offended too? How to deal with the confusion after you realize that you had a premonition?

I feel absolutely devastated. Last night I was playing on Google Maps. I was actually on street view around Tokyo and the area. Then after my husband got home from work I went out shopping for groceries. On the way home I felt this bereft feeling, really depressed and a death feeling. I had this same feeling for 3 months before 9/11. For the past several months I have been having dreams of beaches and tsunamis. When I heard about the earthquake and the tsunamis this morning I never really thought about it. Only when my husband asked why I searched there last night did everything fall into place. I also felt the feeling a week before New Years in 2003. I do not consider myself psychic nor want to be. But last night gives me goosebumps when I think about it and I am very confused how to approach this. For several weeks before my Father died I kept hearing a phone ring in my sleep and like people were watching me. I was waken up by the phone when he died a month before my son was born in 2008. I've also had odd feelings of car accidents on the days that I've had them (two of them). What do I do? This is confusing, unnerving and a little scary. Is it some worldwide feeling of premonition that everyone picks up on or am I just crazy?

i smoked purp last night for the first time. I havnt smoked in like 4 years which was my first time. I had a horrbile trip the very first time i smoked. Well last night i was smokin i thought this time it was jus goin to be and laugh witmy best friend. After i hit the blunt like 7 times HARD. I tried so hard to think of the positive but it was jus like i had a demon in me..and o yea..WE were listenin to some crazy killing type music,.(project pat) I think thats what triggered the carzii thought and result in a start of a horrible trip...This is my second time i smoked high grade..PLEASE DO NOT SMOKE HIGH GRADE WEED UNLESS U ARE EXPERIENCED....I eventually got home from chillin ova from my friends house..I went to my room and layed down..I began ofthinking of all type of crazy ****...I wanted to call my gf and talk to her but i knew my mind was not in the right state of mind...I was trippn bout everything..sucidal thoughts and killing people. Very bad yea i kno..luckily iim awake today. I prayed though to god ad told myself its jus the drug ill be ok. Question about Dragon Age Origins?

I know this game is pretty old now, and Dragon age 2 is coming out real soon, but I have a question about it. I want to get the perfectionist achievement, which is when you have to discover all endings on all playthroughs. I played this game once, got the ending where I sacrifice myself and then reloaded the save and accepted morrigans offer. So in one playthrough I got two of the endings. On the next playthrough, I had Alistair sacrifice himself, which was another ending. Now, All I need is to have Logain sacrifice himself. However, I was wondering, if I deleted my first playthrough (the one were I got the "ultimate sacrifice" and "a dark promise" achievement), will I still be able to get the prefectionist achievement?? Please help, I want that achievement.

This situation I am in is very tricky, and I personally have never been in one like this before. I recently moved to the a new town,which is amazing. My roommate and I have been friends for 14+ years. She has a best friend who is a guy,and we have all hung out fairly regularly for a while now. I never had any kind of attraction to him, but knew that he had some feelings for me. I kept it casual and platonic, because I didn't want to ruin anything with my roomie and for his/her friendship. MFT Bias in California?

Hello. I am currently pursuing a Master's of Arts in Organizational Management, but I'm thinking of switching to the Marriage and Family Therapy program, as this interests me a lot more. However, I spoke with an LCSW at my work and she said that there's a huge bias against MFTs in California--people would rather hire LCSWs. For all you MFTs out there, have you found this to be true?
